You can only start a Week 14 wrap-up with LaDainian Tomlinson. I’m sure Fantasy owners everywhere join me in congratulating LT2 on breaking Shaun Alexander’s short-lived NFL single season TD record. It looked like he would only tie the record, but Jay Cutler’s late game fumble set-up the record setting run. How about Marty saying in the press conference, “He is the finest running back to ever wear an NFL uniform.” Then a choked up Marty said LT2′s accomplishments on the football field pale in comparssion to the type of person he is off the field. That says it all!

As I type this Sunday Night Football is on and we have another VULTURE! Where the heck did FB Mike Karney come from? 2 receptions for 10 yards and 2 rushes for 10 yards. Oh, yeah, one of those rushes were for a TD!! No Fantasy Owner is happy about this.

Speaking of VULTURES, MIN RB Artose Pinner. 125 yards and 3 TD’s…THREE TOUCHDOWNS!!!! I don’t know one person who had him in their line-up and I play in 33 leagues!!! Myself, I picked Fason (bust!). I guess Pinner had the revenge factor going for him, since he played for DET last year.

VULTURE ALERT!!! Karney strikes again. Bush, McAllister, Colston, Henderson & Copper owners are not feeling the Karney lovefest!

QB Eli Manning is getting it done the past 2 weeks. I have to tell you though, he doesn’t look good to me. Throwing off his back foot and throwing across his body…he’s no Favre!

They didn’t win and he didn’t put up good numbers, but I liked the way WAS QB Jason Campbell looks. He’s cool in the pocket (for the most part) and has good footwork. This bodes well for next season.

Another game another TD for….Plaxico Burress! I use to say that about TE Alge Crumpler, but all he does now is drop passes. 4 staright games with a TD catch for Plax…we like!

Detroit’s WR Mike Williams looks like a Tight End out there. A far cry from his glory days at USC.

RB RUDI Johnson, got to like his 2 TD effort. He just missed a 3rd TD, then CIN got a false start call, so Palmer went to the air to throw an INT.

How about another Fullback making some noise today? ATL’s Justin Griffith with the nice fake on FS Will Allen to waltz into the endzone. I would hate to be Allen in the film room tomorrow.

The Tennessee Titan’s are in the play-off race. Yes, you read that correctly.

Speaking of the Titans, I have to give it up to QB Vince Young. I’m not a Young fan, but am coming around. Despite his awkward throwing motion, you can’t deny what he has brought to that team. When he enters the huddle, he brings something you can’t score on the Wonderlic test. Hook ‘em.

How about those 171 yards form RB LaDell Betts!!! We named him as one of our Fantasy Impact Players on this week’s podcast. Not sure why he signed an extension though…maybe he should have tested the free agency market.

Indy gave up 375 yards rushing today to Jacksonville. They miss DB Bob Sanders bad. Even with him though, their rush DEF stinks. If opponents can control the clock via the run, The Colts have no shot at The Super Bowl.

Before we get to the NFL, let me vent about the Tennessee Vols inability to defend their house. This is the second time this season they let victory slip thru their hands at Neyland Stadium. At what the heck, how do the officials not call JaMarcus Russell’s fumble on the final drive? How about a little home field advantage? Smokey is P.O.’d! To make matters worse starting RB Arian Foster and two teammates get arrested at a Knoxville nightclub after the game. Really? You are getting your party on after a brutal loss?

Okay, let’s get to it:

Looks like WR Joey Galloway is not dropping any balls today. 2 TD’s in the first half. This coming just after I scribbled in my notes for Chucky to stop babying QB Gradkowski.

I’m mad the ST LOUIS vs. KC game is not in HD!!

Kris Brown you SUCK!!!!

Nice shot of Raven’s QB Coach Rick Neuheisel talking to TE Todd Heap on the sidelines, after Heap let the ball get stripped. I wonder how Neuheisel is doing in his Office Pools?

As I type QB Tony Romo hits WR Patrick Crayton for a 48 yard completion…big 3rd down conversion. Crayton getting looks today. Cowboys are in the red zone…where is Marion Barber III? Barber wouldn’t have taken that safety! T.O. TD! Oh, what an idiot! His endzone snooze will give WAS good field position.

Muhsin Muhammed was getting looks all first half. Good to see him make the tough 30 yard grab for a TD.

Staying on Da Bears game, very impressive INT in the red zone by Alex Brown, much needed Mo shift.

However MIA just scores…again…21-10 Phins…uh-oh…talk about defending your house…whattup CHI?

AGAIN ALGE!!!!!!!

Well, one of my Fantasy Freakin Football co-hosts, Wonderboy, called it…David Garrard has chemisrty with WR Ernest Wilford. I see we played him in our WCOFF Satellite league (for an injured Plax)…nice call Wonderboy!

You think Brett Favre is having fun today? INT for TD and a fumble in the first half. This game is ugly. With RB Willis McGahee going down, it got even uglier for the Bills offense.

Does Marques Colston get it done or what? Rookie of the Year! Gave everyone a scare by landing hard after TD catch.

Enjoy the rest of the morning games!!

Halftime of Week 8, lots going on, but first I had to hit the closet and dig out my McNabb jersey…he needs some love. Not even sure what is going on in Philly. Out of sync. Donovan missed a WIDE OPEN Reggie Brown in the end zone. McNabb had days to throw on a nice play fake, Brown had three steps on the defenders and McNabb overthrew him! Previous weeks that would have been a 50+ yard TD. Thankfully they are at the half, HC Reid can make some adjustments…c’mon Philly!

OCHO CINCO TD!

However, 85 did have a TD slip through his hands earlier. It wasn’t an easy catch, but still, you talk the talk, WALK THE WALK!

Staying on CINCY, it was RB Kenny Watson and not Chris Perry in as the 3rd down back. Hmmm.

Nice to see The Cheeseheads have something to cheer about. TE David Martin again getting it done for GB. Did you listen to the Fantasy Freakin’ Football podcast? If you did, you knew to pick him up…and we pimped him last week!

Speaking of pimpin’, RB Ahman Green, 2 First Half TD’s!! Wonderboy gave you him in one of our pre-season podcasts…gotta tune-in!!!

NO WR Joe Horn missed making a leaping grab that would have kicked started their offense. He did make up for it with 39 yard TD catch. Nobody was more happy than CBS that New Orleans got on the board….21-0 was a sure way to lose an audience.

Is anyone still watching the CHI/SF game??????

TN Defense scores a TD!!!! If you have been a faithful listener of our FFF podcast, you know I went out on a limb Week 1 and called a TD for TN…actually, as Wonderboy said, I went out on a twig. Well, they scored!!! So what if it is 7 weeks late?
Oh, yeah, there were only 8 seconds left in the half when QB David Carr fumbled…hard times for the Texans.

AZ is not a well-coached team. Why is J.J. Arrington fielding a punt on the 5 yard line? I know he was coached not to do that, but c’mon, where is the discipline? Did I mention he fumbled to boot?

Bill Bidwell needs to clean house in AZ.

Vick to Crumpler, TD…sound familiar?

K Matt Bryant is TB’s offense.

This is how bad Philly is playing: it with 8:53 left in the 2nd half that they got their first 1st down.

HC Sean Payton, needs to re-think letting a rookie RB THROW the ball. Reggie Bush needs a little seasoning before he copycats L.T. Did I mention he threw for an INT in the endzone.

QB Vince Young nice 21 yard TD run…even nicer gesture calmly flipping the ball to a young fan in the stands.

Couldn’t the CINCY Def just fall on the ball after a Vick fumble? They had it, but when they tried to get up, lost the ball, just lost it, nobody stripped it. Carson Palmer could have done something with a short field.

Lundy is over a Hundy.

Senecca Wallace has 2 Td’s more than I thought he would.

Can GB please stop scoring in the red zone everytime? It is killing my K Dave Rayner!

Philly is in the red zone…could the jersey be working????

I hope everyone saw RB Larry Johnson take off at the 4 yard line and launch himself into the endzone. Incredible. He even landed 1 yard past the goal line!

Well, Philly got a FG at least.

Matt Hasselbeck OUT of the game, return unlikely.

Clinton Portis just left the field. He is jumping up and down on the sidelines, so hopefully he’ll get back in.

Troy Willimason (WR) suffers a head injury. SEA/MIN game could be tough on fantasy owners.

So happy to see Jacksonville lose! Knocks 269 OUT of a high stakes King of the Hill I play in…more will go if SEA can’t come back.

Just when I pimped Big Ben in the earlier post, he gets triple hit and knocked out of the game.

Doug Gabriel and Tom Brady are clicking.

Ahman Green needed an IV (before his TD)…

More evidence the Florida heat & humidity were brutal, McNabb caught on live TV yacking, he had to call time-out. That team has heart. Heart-breaking loss, but what are you going to do when a guy hits a 61 yarder?

The Steeler faithful travel well.

WOW! As I type, Peyton Manning hits Reggie Wayne in stride for a 51 yard TD. Nice throw and catch!!

Fox’s Curt Menefee was making quite the fashion statement today…

Seneca Wallace (QB) having a tough time.

I wonder if anyone reads these????

Before we get to some observations, let me say that last night I went to Linda & Michael’s Halloween Bash last night as Peyton Manning doing his best Uncle Rico impression and it was a big hit! Peyton even had a few autograph requests and almost had to mix it up with a dreaded Gator fan.

J-E-T-S, J-E-T-S, J-E-T-S!!!!!

Leon Washington (RB) getting it down for my favorite team in green. 74 yards & 1 TD in the first half. Barlow not too shabby either. They are playing Detriot, but who cares!!??!!

As I am typing this, Jeremiah Trotter (MLB) is down, grasping his knee…not good for Philly. We’ll wait and see, but Philly’s D was getting it done in the heat down in Florida. Wasn’t there fault McNabb threw that pick for a TD to Ronde Barber. Back from commercial and Trotter okay…good news!!!!

Backto THE J-E-T-S, really glad to see Jerricho Cotchery (WR) making some noise, 6/78/0. Many fantasy owners need this with the slim pickings available during Week 7 with 6 teams on bye.

Kris Brown (K) you stink!!!! Way to keep the Jags in the game. Should have been 13-0 at the half. Go Texans!!! Many a KING OF THE HILL and SUICIDE pools will be effected by this upset!

Ernest Wilford (WR) getting some targets, but Leftwich passing poorly. They arte going to run, run, run the second half.

We at Fantasy Freakin’ Football said it will be tough to play at Arrowhead Stadium…San Diego’s offense is MIA as is their defense. Damon Huard’s 20 yard strike to Eddie Kennison was pretty!

Just when I thought Joey Harrington was going to have a MONSTER day, he throws a pick. His second pick was TE Randy McMichael’s fault…catch the ball!!!!

At the end of the 1st quarter The Lions defense already looks spent.

Heath Miller TE was Johnny-On-The-Spot for PIT in pouncing on that Hines Ward fumble. Rewarded with a TD a few minutes later. Big Ben looking good, remember a few weeks back when my co-host Garret Mathany told everyone to pick up Big Ben…235 yards at halftime leads all QB’s.

Geez, Donovan McNabb to Ronde Barber for a TD AGAIN!!!!!

Dave Rayner (K) is helping fantasy owners this week. Picked him up in a few leagues this week.

WOW, zebra down in the NY/DET game. Hate to see that. No one’s fault, Leon Washington made a spin move right into the umpire Bill Schuster.

WHO DEY playing FFF fave Johnny Cash as a first down measurement is happening…”Walk The Line.”

Detriot’s defense is horrid and so is their special teams.

Carson Palmer goes to a TE for a TD. Reggie Kelly was wide open. 85 looks frustrated…how long before he goes T.O.? Remember the incident at halftime of the play-off game with PIT?

Can’t the put the SD/KC in HD??!!!

Nick Going (RB) another Fantasy Freakin Football “Pimp Your Fantasy Ride” selection, comes through with a rec TD!!! Cincy D is soft!!!!

Deion Branch gets first TD with The Seahawks. Nice adjustment and catch will give Matt Hasselbeck confidence in his new WR going forward.

Good to see Kevin Jones( DET) going off. 95 yards & a TD! Where are the receptions though? Dang right I’m greedy, us Jones owners have been living off those receptions.

Plaxico Burress (NY), ugh, Randy Moss syndrome…takes too many plays off. Check out his body language, would you throw to him? Wicked hit though on DeAngelo Hall (ATL) after a Manning INT…but Plax QUIT on the play after the intercetion, only to realize Hall was heading right to him.

Brandon Jones (TEN), hope you took our advice on the Fantsay Freakin’ Football podcast, we gave him a shout out on PIMP MY FANTASY RIDE. He delivered with a 1st Half TD.

Roy Williams (DET) is showing no ill effects from the stinger suffer last week. Nothing wrong with a 28 yard TD catch right before the half. 7/99/1 and it is only halftime!!!

Hank Baskett (PHI) is getting looks, but needs to hang onto the ball. 2 drops that I saw.

Travis Henry (TEN) former Tennessee Vol is representing!! And against WAS!?! Aren’t they suppose to be a good defense team? Henry’s 76 first half yards says otherwise. What about the score too!?!
WAS 14 – TEN 13.

Was that Kyle Boller leading BALT to a TD? Yep. Nice focus by WR Mark Clayton to get the tipped ball TD.

Joe Horn (NO) finally finds the endzone, I’m happy for him.

ROMO! ROMO! ROMO!

Travis Henry (TEN) strapped The Titans on his back and carried them to their first victory! A career high 178 yards to go with 1 TD. I wonder what one of my co-hosts on Fantasy Freakin’ Football was throwing at the TV as he watched Henry man-handle WAS. Bobby “Go-Skins” Brimmer, I send my condolences.

Speaking of career highs…Jake Delhomme (CAR) slung it for 365 yards and 2 TDs against BALT!! That’s right, BALT!!! Impressive. I know many fantasy owners opted to bench Delhomme in favor of a QB with a more favorable match-up…I did in one local league. Steve Smith 8/189/1, pure $$!

Great to see Marion Barber (DAL) get a garbage time TD. Valuable flex player in many leagues this week, with 6 teams on byes.

Speaking of value plays, how about Patrick Crayton (DAL)? 5 receptions for 61 yards, he led the team in receiving yards!

Torry “Big Game” Holt (ST L), think everyone who drafted Chad Johnson & Larry Fitzgerald ahead of him are regretting it. You bet! In the WCOFF Main Event I am one of those people!

And what a crazy ending to that ST LOUIS/SEATTLE game. Marc Bulger INT, Maurice Morris FUMBLE, Holt’s 67 yard TD catch (incredible catch), Josh Brown game-winning 54 yard FG. Fantasy owners loved this game!

Did you see that Alex Smith (SF) 15 yard TD strike to Bryan Gilmore? Gilmore showed nice hands and Smith good poise. Of course it has kinda gone downhill from there.

LaDainian Tomlinson (SD) has 3 TD’s and it is only halftime. Look for a good dose of Marty Ball with Michael Turner leading the way.

What is going on with the Miami Dolphins??? Is Saban on the hot seat? Doubt it, but he might have divided the team with his benching of Culpepper.

Kansas City finally looks like a Herm Edwards coached team (31-0 PIT at halftime).
